WORK BEGINS ON THE NORFOLK ROYALE HOTELS NEW RANGE OF LUXURY ROOMS

All Club Rooms will be supplied with Bathrobes, Slippers & Complimentary Mineral Water

Work is set to begin on a multi million pound refurbishment programme at The Norfolk Royale Hotel in Bournemouth this month, where the entire 2nd floor of the hotel is to be refurbished to a luxury 4 star standard. In total 38 rooms are to be transformed of which many will be transformed into a new high-class category to be known as ‘Club Rooms’, including executive accommodation and Junior Suites.

Also on the agenda are 4 specially designed disabled rooms, two of which will have en-suite bathrooms specifically adapted for people with physical mobility problems, with the remaining two being equipped with en-suite wet rooms.

The refurbishment represents the largest investment the company has made in recent years and emphasises the Group’s commitment to developing its portfolio of quality hotels.

Hotel Manager, Clive Moss, commented on the refurbishment: “The Norfolk Royale has always been a popular choice with both corporate and leisure guests visiting Bournemouth and the refurbishment will go even further towards positioning us as one of the finest hotels in the area.”

The first of the refurbished rooms are due to be completed by June 2008 and will shortly be available to book via the hotel’s website or through English Rose Hotels Central Reservations (01723 374 374), at a supplement from only £10.00 per person per night.

Guests are reassured that as the refurbishment is localised to one particular floor of the hotel, any disruptions will be kept to an absolute minimum with work being confined to normal working hours.

The refurbishment at The Norfolk Royale is one of several refurbishment programmes scheduled to take place in 2008 throughout the English Rose Group. This first of which, now in it’s final stages, sees the completion of 10 refurbished rooms at Wrea Head Country House Hotel in Scalby village, near Scarborough – including a luxury suite. There is also exciting times ahead for Scarborough’s Royal Hotel where, come May, work is due to begin on refurbishing the hotel’s Sea View Lounge and public areas, as well as the addition of 2, specialist beauty treatment rooms.
